Don't know if you can afford a Home Inspection...can you afford not to? Buying a new home may be the biggest
investment you'll ever make. Although the process is very exciting, it quickly becomes overwhelming. While the home you have
selected may appear to be just what you're looking for, how can you be sure there aren't potentially serious unknown defects
which can make your investment in your future a costly one. Having your new home professionally inspected by RL
Blackburn as early as possible in the buying process, can save you thousands of dollars on items which you may be able
to have the seller or builder correct.
Why hire RL Blackburn?
"R.L. Blackburn, Home Inspector, is also an active custom and speculative Home
Builder in Winston Salem, NC and Piedmont/Triad region of North Carolina. Through his years
of experience as a Home Builder, he is fully qualified to spot code infractions of bad workmanship, defective or sub-standard
building products, and faulty engineered components so widely used in the industry today that are often accidently missed
by the County code enforcement." Actually
being on his own jobsites daily and knowing the building process from start to finish, gives him an overwhelming
edge over the quantity, profit-driven schemes of an inexperienced, internet franchise, home inspection business. Most of these
guys are NOT home builders and do NOT know construction. They are, simply put, "home critics", at best.
R.L. adds, "I was shocked
at the number of Home Inspectors who only obtained
a license in General Contracting, to get their Home Inspection license but have NEVER built a single home! They wouldn't know where to start if given the chance. They know very little about the construction process or building standards
and are out in the field inspecting your homes. These guys are simply faking it at your expense! So many lawsuits have recently been filed because
of Home Inspector error and ommissions, the
NC Home Inspector Licensure Board are now faced
with having to take drastic measures to change the qualification requirements for a license in home inspection. Because of ignorance and lack of construction experience. The fact is, no matter how stringent new laws may seem to be,
inexperienced inspectors will make it through the loopholes and be "grandfathered in" just because they are already
doing business. It is in this same manner that early home inspectors, who now boast
of "low digit" license numbers, were "granfathered in" back when they had been conducting home inspections
when a license wasn't even required by the state to inspect a home. When the law came into being requiring that
license, these inspectors were allowed to continue and granted a license number! The "low digits" are now charging
more than the rest because they want you to believe they know more based on a "low digit" license number!
They have never actually built a home; they just critique real builders.
As a Licensed Home Inspector AND Licensed Home Builder, R.L. Blackburn offers
you a true alternative to these companies. R.L. Blackburn is a
PRIVATE home inspection business, NOT an Internet home
inspection franchise! Service rates are generally less because there
are no franchise commissions added to the percentage. "I love the construction
field; it's my livelyhood. I've been in the business long enough to recognize the "BULL" the inexperienced
inspectors are selling. They are simply NOT giving you the service you think you're getting,"
R.L. Blackburn. AGAIN,
most Home Inspectors have never built a home ~ never built a home.
WHY would you trust someone to inspect your home who has absolutely NO experience in construction?
This is a "no-brainer!" Do a simple internet
search on Google. You'll find one
the quickest most profitable, new start up business is...you guessed it ~ a Home Inspecting FRANCHISE! It is sadly one of the biggest reasons this area is swamped with
amatuer home inspectors that have absolutely no clue and just trying out their new "get-rich-quick"
scheme on Y-O-U.
Help me stop the BULL... RL
Blackburn concludes, "I'm not telling you how to spend your money, thats your business. I'm here to tell you there is
an undeniable problem in the business, you most likely had no idea about the seriousness of... until
now. Now you know. Do the research you'll see my words are completely true.
I call my inspections
the "NO-BULL" Home Inspection because I'm tired of these assembly line inspectors giving the
construction business a bad name, writing reports and giving opinions about something they know little to nothing about. I'm not going to shoot you a report with useless UN-qualified opinions. I'm not in this
to waste your time or mine. My job is to tell you exactly what I find, nothing more nothing less and then it's your
responsibility to make the final call." "I promise you,
the buyer, a REAL professional home inspection and accurate information you will need, to make an informed
decision, before your purchase."
